Rye Park Manufactures World Class Poker and Gaming Tables

Installation: How to Felt a Poker Table

Our Exclusive Nylon Layouts:

Our poker table layouts (poker table felts) and all our gaming table layouts are made of 100% Synthetic Nylon material. We print our poker felts on white fabric and can achieve any full color graphic image.

We also carry this same nylon fabric in rolls, in a hand full of popular colors. Our Rolled fabric in unbacked and has a lighter feel than our printed poker layouts felts, but it has the same long lasting and great playing qualities! (email for free sample cuts)

We use a unique direct to fabric printing process with an acid die. This process allows the ink to penetrate deep into the fabric.

Our poker table felts MUST BE misted down completely, this allows the fabric to relax and the poker and blackjack felts/layouts will stretch to fit the table.

Step by Step Instructions on installing our Synthetic Nylon Poker Felts/Layouts!

Your poker layouts will come folded for shipping purposes.

1. Center the gaming layout on the poker table and make sure it is facing the correct direction.

2. Take any standard misting bottle with water and start spraying the layout down evenly, be sure to get the entire layout even the corners that will not be on the table.  This misting process allows the fabric to relax and the poker table felt will go back to its original size.  The layout being wet will also allow the fabric to stretch.

3. After the gaming layout is damp, center the layout exactly how you want it on the table, pull from side to side and end to end, this will flatten out the poker layout and remove any wrinkles.  Measure your distances and logos and make sure everything is even.

4. Once the gaming layout is where you want it, start at one long end of the table, put about 7-10 staples in- then go to the opposing side, pull the table game layout a good amount until tight, put another 7-10 staples in-then go to the middle of the table (opposite side of the dealer spot) pull about half of the slack out of the layout and then staple 7-10 staples- go the the dealer side, pull the rest of the slack tight and staple 7-10.

5. Repeat this process again, but start with the corners this time...pull the stack tight, 7-10 staples then go to the opposing side and repeat.

6. Now fill in the rest of the gaps evenly with staples.

7. Trim with a blade.

When the layout is dry the fabric will tighten up even more, this will allow the layout to stay taut throughout the life of the layout. Even in a humid climate!
